On-Camera Audition Technique
Private Coaching & Career Counseling
ON-CAMERA AUDITION TECHNIQUE
This ongoing class meets once a week and focuses on making the read dynamic. Gone are the days of cold reading, due to sides being available ahead of the audition. Actors must be prepared to bring their reads to a performance level. Attention is given in class to breaking down the scene, finding and executing the ‘truth,’ and making the most exciting choices for an audition. This class includes private audition coaching. $200/month.
PRIVATE COACHING & CAREER COUNSELING
One-on-one coaching is available for solving acting problems, practicing cold readings, as well as preparing for theatrical and commercial auditions. Each session is tailored to the actor's specific needs. Most sessions are done on-camera. John is also available for career guidance and input. $50/half-hour session or $90/hour.
